ForgottenGold Appeal is a business name owned by Glasson Recycling Limited.
We are the company behind the leading gold recycling service for consumers, forgottengold.com. We have experienced phenomenal demand for our gold recycling service since we launched it in March 2009. Thousands of satisfied customers have used our service to recycle their old gold jewellery for money.
In response to approaches from several charities to recycle donated old gold jewellery, we decided to introduce a gold appeal service (ForgottenGoldAppeal.com) to allow as many registered charities as possible to benefit from this new and innovative fund raising opportunity.
Our objective is to help charities to generate significant funds from recycling donated old gold jewellery.
Niall Marren, Managing Director, Glasson Recycling Limited
Niall holds a Master Degree in Environmental Engineering and has over 14 years management experience from several sectors including Financial Services, e-commerce and environmental Engineering. For over 8 years, Niall worked as a project management consultant leading multi-million euro projects for clients including Bank of Scotland (Ireland), An Post National Lottery, HSBC, Bank of Ireland and Invesco Asset Management. Niall is a Director and Co-Founder of Glasson Recycling Limited.
Janet Howard, Director, Glasson Recycling Limited
Janet is an entrepreneur with a track record of founding and developing successful businesses in Ireland. Janet's first venture, VISION Group, grew to become one of Ireland's largest indigenous computer services companies in the early nineties with offices in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Her second venture, Pinnacle Projects Partners, is acknowledged as one Ireland's most capable Management Consultancies, with an excellent reputation for leading and managing large, complex business and technology projects on behalf of blue-chip client organisations.
Janet has also served in the following non paid public service positions:
- Member of the Science, Technology and Innovation Advisory Council during which time they advised the Government on strategy for investment in science and technology.
- Member of the IDA Regional Board for Dublin and the mid East area.
- Member of the Small and Medium Sized Business Task Force setup by the Department of Enterprise and Employment.
Janet is a Director and Co-Founder of Glasson Recycling Limited.
